Our Founder's Story
Good Friday, April 6th 2012, in Manteca, California,
I was on my way to church, and was hit by a drunk driver!
He actually hit me TWICE, and knocked me
HEAD-ON into an off-duty Police officer!!
My car was totaled and I had to have emergency surgery!
There were glass fragments in my eyes, broken and fractured bones in my pelvis, arms, and several other areas in my body!
I was in excruciating pain and unable to move or do anything for myself. I could not even scratch an itch when I wanted to. After being in the hospital for weeks, and still in recovery,
I was transferred to rehab. I remained there for just under
30 days learning how to walk and use my limbs again.
During that time, the Lord told me to start a
Ministry for Women, because there were so many
hurting women, and that it should be a healing Ministry!
It would also be a place where other women
could come forth and use their gifts!
I asked the Lord if He wanted me to do that
then what would be the name of the Ministry, and He said:
"Beneath His Wings Ministry" and base it on Psalms 91.
God has guided this Ministry in every area; the officers,
the speakers, and the frequency!!
The 1st Conference was held on July 13, 2013,
in Lathrop, CA.
Every year, we host two Workshops in March and October, and one Conference in July...
